PCA’s Medium Voltage Overhead Line Cover (POLC) provides insulation to help prevent electrical outages caused by trees or wildlife coming into contact with overhead distribution lines. It is designed to insulate existing bare conductors without costly conductor replacement expenditures. It is used up to 36 kV. It comes with in-built mastic sealing. It is available in Red colour.

In areas of extreme environmental conditions, the insulating & weatherproof breakouts are used to seal the crotch portion of the cable and providing a smooth transition to the cores. In both applications for terminations and Joints, the breakout protects the cable from any moisture entry.
